What a result!
Can’t believe the result. My computer apparently thought it was in a parallel dimension, as it kept kicking me and forcing me to reboot, but that was the best match I think Bolton have played all year. Hats off to them, and it definitely looks like the turn around in form is full steam ahead now!

bad teams have good games here and there. and then they’re bound to throw out a stinker. But 3-2-1 in six games seems like a trend. That’s more points in the last five weeks than we had in the preceding three months. That sounds like a trend. We might could sustain this

Precisely!
A good confidence builder against Macclesfield following the blip against United, and now a sizable ego boost thanks to a 3-1 victory over Liverpool, and not to mention that victory over Everton, the draw with Wolves and the victory over Blackburn (yes, immediately followed by a loss to Newcastle). I’d call that an upward trend.
A good showing against Swansea and Bolton could put a little bit of distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
