Ream On! Defender's Deal Just About Done
It looks like Owen Coyle has just about secured his replacement for Gary Cahill. With his work permit being approved yesterday and rumors that a transfer fee and wage agreement are already in place, it looks as though Bolton Wanderers and Red Bull New York really only have to cross their T's and dot their I's before the Tim Ream transfer becomes officially official.
Ream is being touted as a direct replacement for Gary Cahill but we know that it won't be happening like that right away, especially with Zat Knight and David Wheater currently both enjoying a good run of form. Ream has potential and may get some time early on but don't look for him to make an immediate impact. We'll bring more to you as we get it.

Saturday?
If the deal is finished by Friday, I could see him making his debut against Swansea Saturday. He has been training with the club for close to a month now.
Apparently it's officially official now.
Just saw on Sky Sports that this deal is now done, and Ream’s officially and official member of Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Whoo :)
…now hopefully Bolton can get some other fresh faces in over the next couple of days.
