Rodrigo Moreno is in absolutely blistering form for Spain U-21s and is now averaging more than a goal per game for the young Spanish team!

Rodrigo spent just under a season on loan at Bolton Wanderers under Owen Coyle and never really flourished. The young Spanish striker came from Benfica and made 17 appearances for Bolton and scored once for the Trotters in that time. That goal came in a 1-1 draw against Wigan in another thrilling installment of T'Classico.

It was after he left Bolton and returned to Benfica that Rodrigo really flourished. Since 2010, Rodrigo has made 45 appearances for Benfica in all competitions and has provided them with a very good return of 20 goals, a number of which came in the Champions League.

To date, Rodrigo has represented Spain at the youth levels from U-19 to U-23. Last night, he participated in a Spain U-21 fixture against a Denmark team that was the same age. Rodrigo was in absolutely blistering form as he scored four goals in a 5-0 victory. His hat trick came in the first 21 minutes! He's now scored 11 goals in nine appearances for the Spanish U-21s.
