We make no secret of the fact that we here at Lion of Vienna Suite are big Kevin Davies fans. Huge. Massive. We love the guy. And we, apparently are not alone, as Super Kevin Davies has been awarded the fan's Player of the Month award for November. Previously this season, Chris Eagles had swept the competition, taking August, September, and October, so it makes sense that it would take someone like SKD to unseat him.

Of Bolton's 6 games in November, 2 wins and 4 draws, Davies started 4 of them and came on as a sub in the other 2, which is not bad at all for a 35 year old striker. He also scored two goals, the first against Barnsley, and the second v Blackburn.

After repeated calls for his retirement throughout much of last season, Kevin Davies has spent much of this season proving the he definitively still has it. And long may it continue!
