Misleading Article Titles Aren't Fun

First thing I did this morning, as I do every morning, was check Sky Sports to see what fantastic new revelations have occurred in the Premier League (who could possibly live with themselves if they didn't know whether Suarez was sorry, Evra was still mad, or Fergie was still insane and Scottish?). It's a habit I've had for a few years now, but something that's becoming frustrating due to several incidents of misleading article titles getting my hopes or fears up.

This morning, on my usual check, I scroll down to the Bolton Wanderers section, after learning that Fergie is indeed still insane and Scottish, and see an article titled "Lee makes Bolton return." Simple title, but one that had me very excited. The first thought that popped into my mind? FANTASTIC! Chungy's come back early and Bolton will have some fantastic pace down the sides. It was the news I've been wanting to hear all season, and Sky Sports was telling me it was true, right there in front of my face!

Naturally, I clicked the link, expecting to read about the triumphant return of our young Korean lad, scattered with insight into Sky Sports journalists' usual lack of understanding or interest in all things Trotters, and am instead greeted by the picture of an older gentleman with stereotypically British teeth. Why that's not Chungy, that's Sam Lee, exclaimed an instantly disappointed me, sitting in disbelief that I was indeed reading another misleading Sky Sports article. Don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to see a Bolton alum and...uhh...manager back with the club, and I'm extremely pleased that he's coming back to lend the Tiny Trotters some insight, but an article involving the name Lee should most definitely have been more accurately title so as to avoid raising and then dashing the hopes of us Bolton fans who happen to need such boosts to brighten what is otherwise a dark and stormy night visit to the Sky Sports website.

Point being: Yay, Sammy's back; Boo Sky Sports' misleading titles!

(Was bored, thought I'd post a small rant for funsies)
