There is really nowhere else to go with this. The defense was solid in the first half, but no individual defender really stood out. Tuncay Sanli had a few nice touches, but nothing to write home about. David Ngog did his best to hold up the ball, but the wild hoofs he was given to work with left him little opportunity. That leaves young Ryo Miyaichi.

Ryo didn't get a lot of time on the ball, but when he did, he looked dangerous. He doesn't seem to understand what to do when stationed on the post during a set piece, but that means he fits right at the Reebok. And he's not out there for his defending anyway. It looks as though he has cemented his spot in the starting XI for the rest of the season. He and Petrov on either wing looks fairly dangerous, hopefully we can start creating some goals moving forward.
