The mill is going at full speed this morning as indications on Twitter are that the Stephen Warnock to Bolton Wanderers loan deal has been completed. Earlier this morning, Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert confirmed that the two sides would be in talks regarding the out-of-favor full back. Warnock has yet to appear in any of Lambert's Villa sides this season.
Everyone's favorite Daily Mirror writer, Alan Nixon, was on a tweeting spree this morning about the deal having already been completed, saying that it is "done and dusted" and that Warnock "should be at training with Bolton today." Given that the deal went through early enough, Warnock would be available for tomorrow's match at Sheffield Wednesday with expectations that we slot into the midfield with Jay Spearing a major doubt.
As soon as anything else develops or we get official word from the club, we'll update.
