London report says Charlton have inquired about Marvin Sordell

Charlton Athletic need a striker. They've scored more goals than seven other teams in the Championship and that's it. Yet, they manage to sit a spot above Bolton Wanderers in the table. Marvin Sordell needs game time and who knows if that will come at Bolton.

A report from London by way of Richard Cawley (South London Press's Deputy Sports Editor) on Twitter suggests that Charlton manager Chris Powell thinks the marriage would be one made in goalscoring heaven.

The idea of Sordell leaving on loan leaves a bitter taste in Bolton fans' mouths and going on loan to a team in the same division and (currently) doing better than the Whites makes it even worse. The one thing that manager Dougie Freedman keeps putting Sordell's performances on is a homesickness for London.

The Trotters have not responded yet but if you were in their position, what would you do?
