This is the first official bit of business that Bolton Wanderers have completed on Deadline Day. It isn't a player in, nor is it one permanently leaving, instead it is simply a loan extension. Michael O'Halloran will stay at Tranmere Rovers until the end of the season.
O'Halloran, a Scotland U21 forward, has made 12 appearances for Rovers since joining them back in September on loan. He has scored one goal for the club, coming in a league draw with Portsmouth. Tranmere's manager, Ronnie Moore, was happy with his business:
"I'm pleased to be able to keep Michael for the rest of the season.
"His pace is a weapon for us and his workrate is fantastic.
"He adds to our attacking options as he can play out wide on either wing and down the middle.
"I'd like to thank Bolton Wanderers for letting Michael stay and hopefully they feel he is improving in his time with us."
