Craig Davies left out of Barnsley team

We were initially worried that Craig Davies would be played by Barnsley in their FA Cup Third round match against Barnsley. The worries have now been deemed unfounded as Barnsley named an 18-man side to face the Clarets and leading scorer Craig Davies was completely left out.

This is usually a tell-tale sign of an imminent move. What this very likely means for Bolton Wanderers fans is that £300,000 man Craig Davies will be a Bolton Wanderers player sooner rather than later.

At the time of writing, Barnsley have had no issues taking shots during their game as they are bossing that statistic against Burnley at Oakwell, leading 13-6.

If and when the signing does finally become official, it will give Dougie Freedman something to think about with both Marvin Sordell and Benik Afobe coming back into the fold as of late. Marvin Sordell's goal against Sunderland will be food for thought as well but who knows how much.
